Secret Canyon Tour

The Secret Canyon Tour AKA “The Secret Canyon Adventure” starts you off with a half hour hummer adventure ride. The 4-wheel trek to the canyon is filled with obstacles and difficult terrain which, coincidentally, is perfect for our Hummers! During this short excursion, you and your family or friends will enjoy thrilling sand hill climbs, exciting rock crawls, and many other off-road obstacles that the Hummer will tackle with ease.  After the Hummer ride you’ll make your way through 150 yards of breath-taking desert landscape filled with a variety of plants and perhaps some wildlife.  As you and your group of 10 or less enter Secret Canyon you will experience the natural wonder inside of the canyon in a way which no other slot canyon in the area can be experienced. You’ll be FREE FROM THE CROWDS, noises, flashes, and all other nuisances; truly able to experience and appreciate the canyon in its peaceful, natural setting. Your group will spend the next hour and 15 minutes exploring and photographing the many beautiful and unique, natural features, born from the millions of years of erosion in the soft sandstone walls, some 60 feet high! This canyon is just as beautiful, if not more-so, than any other toured, slot canyon in the area; the difference is being able to enjoy the slot canyon without feeling like you’re another number. We guarantee this will be your tour and your canyon while your with us! This tour is fairly easy, and only has a few small obstacles to pass over, with gradual inclines and declines.

Add a visit to our newest canyon, so new that it’s technically still un-named, but currently called “The 4th Canyon”! This option is available for the first two tours of the day.  Only $25 per guest adds this additional slot canyon to view, and a hour of fun and beauty to the start of your tour! This canyon is very beautiful, and like our others, guaranteed to be FREE FROM THE CROWDS.

If added, your tour will start 1 hour earlier than listed below.

There is some basic ladder climbing, and short moderate trail hiking involved with this tour.

Secret Canyon Tour Itinerary:

• Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to departure time
• Depart on a 30 minute off road Hummer  ride to Secret Canyon
• Short 5-10 minute hike to Secret Canyon
• Up to about 1^1/2  hours exploring and photographing Secret Canyon
• Short 5 – 10 minute hike back to Hummer
• 30 minute Hummer ride back to Tour Center.

Total tour time: 2 – 2^1/2 hours
